Good Morning all

Upgrading one of the systems to Windows 11 (Not mine) and its stuck on the 'You're 35% there. Please keep your computer on' black screen and white writing.

Anyone had this before?

Thanks all in advance

Perhaps if you pop the drive in another system you can recover the files, probably there somewhere because an upgrade wouldn't be deleting them. Should always have a backup ofc, especially right before a major change.

Usually I restart the pc with reset button
It should attempt to continue
After a couple of failed restarts/attempts
It should roll back
Though as mentioned already
I have tons of backups
Just in case

I recently upgraded several PCs because of Microsoft pulling the old keys and every upgrade went smoothly except one (ironically, with the fastest computer) and it got stuck at certain points, for what I think (I didn't time it) was over 15 minutes, maybe closer to 30 minutes. It did eventually complete and it works fine.
