Windows 11 without activation

I've just built a pc for a friend and have installed Windows 11 pro. Now I know you can run it indefinitely without a license, but are the drawbacks too much of an inconvenience? If so, where best to buy a legit activation key?

I think the most significant drawbacks will be the constant nag to activate windows and no personalization options.

If you want to reduce cost, you could look into sourcing a Win 7 (or 10) license and performing a free upgrade to 11 from there (as a cheeky workaround vs buying a 11 license outright).

I did manage to find a windows 11 key for a good price in the end. All activated now. Lack of personalisation was a bit of a pain.
