Besides maybe 16 Gig of ram, anyone know anything. TPN 2 and Secure boot, but the CPU. I heard it is releasing in June. Seem odd, thew sys reqs are not out yet.

I don't think Microsoft have mentioned anything about Windows 12 - it's mostly based on speculation and people bored of Windows 11 but can't go back to 10 for whatever reason. I'm stuck on Windows 10 for now, as my CPU isn't supported by Windows 11, but I don't see this as a bad thing. ;)

No windows 12 this year far as I know
Seen no mention in insider program

As for requirements
my guess is Microsoft will push AI hard
So maybe a cpu with more AI capabilities than
Current cpus possess
16gb of ram possibly though whether it will be a set requirement
Or recommended amount who knows

Windows 11 doesn't even feel particularly finished yet.

I wonder if the cpu requirement will remain at 8th gen Intel etc for the next few version or if they'll change something

It's just classic microsoft. 1 good os, 1 bad. XP - great, Vista - meh, 7 - great, 8 - meh, 10 - great, 11 - meh

Looking forward to 12. It'll be a polished 11.

Seen mention of 16 gb ram
And 45 TOPS or higher from cpu and/or npu
Though just says to meet AI levels
Partly for Microsoft copilot to work locally
Ie not connected to/using Internet
Doesn't specifically say windows 12
And doesn't say if you don't meet that you will get
You can't upgrade to windows 12
Well not so far anyway lol
