windows 2000 password problem

GFs Little brwther has managed to forget his password to his laptop - its an old laptop running windows 2000 nt - anyone know of a way to circumvent so I can then reset?

Booting into safe mode might work.

Check if you can logon as "Administrator", high chance it will have a blank password.

Failing that, download the CD image from here: http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ burn to CD, boot off it and follow instructions to reset the password. There's also a detailed walkthrough on that site that talks you through it.
