Windows 2000 Professional, help

The woman next door wants a copy of Windows 2000 Professional, to put on a very old Laptop for her Kids.
Is there a very cheap way to get it ? Free dowload sites dont seem to work for me with this !?!

Thanks, dont know specs but will try for more info tomorrow. Seems it wont install XP Pro, so it must be pants

Well i was running Slitaz on a PII 233MHz rig the other day and it felt fine, for normal tasks like browsing etc.

I would be vary wary of an OS that old. Go for one of the Linux distros posted above if the spec is so dire it wont even run XP.

Yeah, if it's very old I wouldn't throw good money at it even if it's cheap when a free copy of Linux would do the job (assuming they're just browsing, playing)
