Will a 2-node Windows 2003 cluster continue to work should it drop off the network for whatever reason? Also, can a failover still be performed if the network is down or it's dropped off the domain for whatever reason? Apologies for the vague questions but I've just built my 1st 2-node cluster in a test lab and am trying to understand any limitations with regard to resilience. Thanks.

If it dropped off the network what would it matter if it could fail over? You should always build redundancy in place to suffer for example a switch failure and you shouldn't just have one DC, or DNS server for that matter.
