Windows 2003 DCOM Error ID 10016

Hi all,

Im having trouble fixing a DCOM issue on one of my servers

Its running windows 2003 and is on our domain

I get this every 15 minutes or so:

Event Category: None
Event ID: 10016

User: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE
Computer: <COMPUTER_NAME>

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

to the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE SID (S-1-5-20). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

I have wittled it down to netman in the DCOM config list and that I need to give the local activation permission for user Network Service on it, but when I look for that user it doesnt exist locally or on the domain.

Any ideas what i may be missing here??

Yea but it tells me what I already know. The problem with fixing this problem is the missing Network Service user

I found a user simply Called network but this cant be the right one!
