windows 2003?

bit bored at home today, not well enough to be out the house. i downloaded a trial of windows server 2003 a while back, just wondered why some people use this as a desktop OS, whats the real advantage over xp?

I don't think anyone does, no advantage whatsoever, stick to XP.

i have all 4 versions of that on a DVD, and i installed i think the developer edit once, i like it and think its really nice the old win98 style, but il stick to my MCE05

It's more secure than XP and with the right tuning to convert it back for desktop usage it is actually faster (due to improvements in the NT 5.2 kernel).

XP x64 is built on NT 5.2 and is already pretuned for desktop usage, so it may be worth trying that instead.
