Windows 2008 and Backup Exec 12

Anybody using Windows 2008 Server and Backup Exec 12 on HP hardware with any success?

BE12 is certified for Windows 2008, in fact I think it was the first backup software to be? BE12.5 is out now too.

I'm having many issues with Windows 2008 64bit and BE12. May try 12.5 out tomorrow before phoning symantec.

If it wasn't for the client insisting on Windows 2008 server I wouldn't recommend 2008 and BE 12.

I did not want to hear that - I need 64 bit for Exchange 2007

One of the issues i'm seeing is with the connections to Exchange 2007 on VMWare (not that the system sitting on VMWare should matter).

Will upgrade to BE12.5 tomorrow and see how it goes.
