Windows 2k - Lost ability to drag, drop, copy, cut and paste in explorer

Ive got a strange problem on a win2k machine. For some reason we have lost the ability to drag, drop, copy, cut and paste in explorer. The options are there, it just will not do anything.

Have checked the option in internet explorer to copy paste and this is enabled. Have also reinstalled SP4.

Any ideas?

Right click on the taskbar and click Properties>Star Menu>customise>advanced, check through the scroll lisk for Enable Dragging and Dropping. Make sure it is selected.
