I brought windows 7 32bit from OcUK a while back, and someone was confused why I chose a 32bit version of windows when I have 4GB of RAM, and 1GB of VRAM.

So doesn't anyone know if Its possible to upgrade from the windows home premium 32bit to the 64 bit edition and still use my same cd key?

Obviously I don't wanna do any illegal stuff.

You can use the same serial key, they're universal. However you can't "upgrade" from 32bit to 64bit. You will need to backup and reformat.
