Hello,
First gaming build is almost a go (a few things arrive tomorrow with the others likely a day behind). Its now come to backing up my data and programs so I dont need to go and re download or re install a load of games (Having to reinstall FS9 and its addons takes an entire afternoon - ive done it several times) / programs.
Currently, im using a macbook (bootcamp), running 32 bit version of windows 7. My new PC, when built, will be using 64 bit Windows 7.
What is the best method to back up my data and, in particular, my programs so that I can keep everything in working order when I install windows on my new PC??
In the past, I have used a program that allowed me to go from XP to 7 and keep my data and programs (PC mover) one one machine... but I have never done a 32 bit to 64 bit move, nor have I actually had to do one from one computer to the next - hence why I am a little confused
Google isnt exactly helpful. It keeps bringing up the M$ help forum thing... and that fails to acknowledge 3rd party software...
Kind regards,
Dan
