Hey guys,

Seem to be encountering an annoying issue where my website information such as usernames and passwords, including this very site, gets deleted randomly and i have to sign in etc all over again.
All of the websites are in my favourites. I can't find any setting that states for the information to be cleared after a certain action/duration either.

Also, i keep getting a message when opening IE up sometimes, where it asks if i want to restore my last session. I closed the windows etc previously, of my own accord. Why does it do this?

Anyone able to shed light on these queries? Am i being daft?

Thanks in advance! :)

As for IE randomly deleting info Id recomend clear all temp files, cookies, history etc and try the reset option on the advanced tab.

If this fails you may want to consider ripping out IE8 and then reloading it.

If you do delete IE8 try loading Firefox first so that if it realy goes nuts you at least have another way of getting onto the net to download fix's.

I think this isn;t so much as bug, but each windows applies a security update to the IE8 now, it automatically removes the data.
I'd noticed this under vista when running IE8, and then again under Win7, it apperas to coincide with windows updates.

Rather annoying to have to retype forum details for so many forums over and over.
I think it is something to do with a cache clear on windows update to remove alleged harmful effects.
