Right I am a bit worried here. just got a windows 7 pc and I look at the back of the case for games such as command and conquer 3 and it says 32-bit only .. am I likely to run into problems with games.

No, 64-bit windows should have no problem running most games, especially the modern ones. Most problems I have encountered with 64-bit windows are driver related, trying to get a 64-bit driver for some obscure hardware or ancient software.
