Hi, since using the 64bit edition of windows 7 RC7100 I cant add any bluetooth devices using my Logitech Bluetooth dongle supplied with my MX5500 keyboard and mouse. Before when I was using 32bit ages ago it worked fine but the other day I wanted to transfer some files over and it failed. You go through the process and click on add a device, it then says software is adding support for bluetooth dongle mode, then it comes up with the connection manager and see's my phone. Every time I click on my phone it installs the drivers for my phone but only half of them????

Its either 64bit or its the new drivers logitech have supplied for windows 7. before I was using Vista drivers

anyone else had this problem???

I'll give it a try using my phone, I've got 2 PCs both with MX5500s and both running Win7 64bit, I'll post back my findings when I've done it. :)

Weird, are you using the new 7 drivers from logitech or are you using the Vista ones.

cheers for looking into this guys really bugging me

Umm, I'm using the Windows 7 drivers. I just set the USB connect and paired it with my phone. It then appears in Devices & Printers

yep 64bit for windows 7, works fine apart from the bluetooth. If I look in device manager it says bluetooth adapter (no drivers) If I click on find drivers it comes up with this broadcom windows 7 bluetooth drivers, I get to the install and that also says cannot install for your device. The actual setpoints software works fine, its just when you turn the dongle into a bluetooth device it classes it as a seperate device, it then requires you to install drivers so it works as bluetooth device.

It used to work fine on my old setup
