windows 7 64bit, Number of CPU cores listed?

Can anyone tell me if this is normal? In Device manager, processors, I have 8
Intel (R) core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @3.5Ghz listed ?

should I not have only 4 listed ?

You have 4 cores plus 4 hyper threading cores which show up individually in the Task manager.

The 3570K will show only 4.
