Windows 7 64Bit

Hi all, i read somewhere that Windows 7 64Bit requires WHQL drivers, is this true, because i hope to use an Epson V300 scanner, and notice one of it's pieces of software isnt certified ?

One would assume its the same as Vista 64 bit so requires WHQL. Never found it a big problem.

well i have used beta nvidia drivers and there not WHQL
so i`d say no its not true
