I have the retail version of windows 7 ultimate. I currently have it installed on my antec PC but when i buy a new PC; am i able to de-activate windows 7 on the antec PC and then install it on the new PC legitimately?

AM i right in assuming that i can install windows 7 from the sinlge disk 64bit on however many PC's i want AS LONG AS it is only on ONE pc at a time? So long as i deactivate it first i can install it again on a different PC?

Yep, absolutely correct.

Format the 'old' PC and re-activate Windows on the new one. You 'might' have to go through the telephone activation, but if it's the first re-activation you've done it'll be a purely automated affair.

So do i have to activate over the phone in order to allow me to do this; or can i simply activate by internet in order to get the option to move the licence to a new PC in the future?

Would this also be the system for microsfot office 2003; again i have the full retail disks?

You can try the internet activition initially however it will likely detect that the hardware specification has changed completely and require you to phone through. It is a fully automated process however. There is a chance though that the internet activation will go through, but I believe this depends on the time since first/last activation. Regardless, it achieves the same result. It's just down to you to ensure the copy is removed from the other machine. There is no de-authorisation procedure as such.

And yes, it is the same for your retail copy of Office.
