Is there anywhere I can buy a Windows 7 install disc that has all the latest windows updates from the time of making integrated into it? I know you can make them yourself but it'd actually be quicker for me to get one posted than attempt to download them all since my Internet connection is so slow. If not is there anyone who'd be willing to make one by burning a DVD? Of course I will pay for postage, disc cost, etc.

I have just reinstalled Windows and it's been updating (still hasn't done them all a week later) but something has gone wrong and I need to reinstall again. It'd be better to have an up to date version right of the bat this time than have to go threw it again. My install disc is pretty old and doesn't have SP1 integrated either.

EDIT: Appears it's known as a slipstreamed install disc.

Hello,

as windows has released windows 8 and going to 10 soon they have stopped releasing service packs for 7.

the only way your going to get a windows 7 disk with all the current updates on is if you use Nlite or RT Se7en Lite.

the only current OS you can get has SP1 installed and even once that's done you still get about 200 odd updates and then more once others are done.

other option is to get to a PC with a good internet connection and use WSUS Offline Update. I haven't used that before but think it allows you to download all the updates for offline use

Another way is to search for and download Simplix UpdatePack7R2 and integrate that into the Windows 7 ISO. Once the ISO is rebuilt you will have a greatly updated ISO which needs relatively few updates from MS once installed.

I agree with Vimes, use Simplix to integrate the updates into an ISO. Perhaps somebody on here might do it for you and host the file somewhere so you just need to download and burn the ISO to disc.

Thanks for the suggestions. Guess either way I'm going to have to just let it download and it takes as long as it takes. I did find WSUS Offline and it seems simple enough to use although to pause and resume you have to kill the process. I can then just put it on a FLASH drive or external HDD.
