Windows 7 - Allow Access with Programmes

I just installed a programme and when I booted it up it said something along the lines off.

"this programme would like to access your home network. Will you allow?"
Without thinking, i allowed it. But I would like to dis-allow it. Would you be able to tell me the location of where I now dis-allow the allowed programme?

Windows Firewall by the sounds of it. Control Panel > Windows Firewall.

There is a link on the left that says Advanced Settings.

Look in both the Inbound and Outbound rules lists for your program name. Right-click the rule and click Properties. There should be an option to Deny the connection. Check this and click OK.
