I've had an odd experience today installing windows 7 on two machines and that is it has found everything controllers and all for both motherboards straight away.
As windows has found aeverything is it worth installing the motherboard chipset drivers anyway?

I've read that it's best to install the proper drivers
for the mobo. Not sure if it'd male any difference though?

guess it depends on if there a newer version than the ones windows installed
some say best to install the proper one as you get better performance
but when even i do that i dont see any difference to be honest

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Eventually you might want to update the chipset drivers but if it is working now then I'd leave it alone.
