I am thinking about upgrading to W7 and currently use O2 as my broadband provider.

Do I need different drivers for the modem when I upgrade or do the ones on the disk work as they work for Vista?

Thanks!

Mine sorted itself out automatically with no need for the CD. Possibly because the laptop has the CD installed on it though.

You don't need any drivers for the modem, you use a router. The only drivers involved are those for your network adapter.

You don't need a CD to set up the router, it's already configured. In case you do need to make any configuration changes you access its web interface using your browser.

What he said. Don't waste your time with the CD.

When i installed W7 i did not have to change anything to do with the broadband. Just enter the WEP address as normal and it picked everything up.

Never had to find any software myself with Windows 7 best OS yet! You should like o2 if you are on one of their opened up exchanges
