I've managed to sort it now with a rebuild but I wanted to check if anyone else has come across it too.
Windows 7 installs fine without any problems or errors, and then it refuses to run any executables other than installshield ones I think. I get this impression because it seemed to run my driver exes, but any other exes it always comes up with an APPCRASH and the option to go online to look for a solution or to close the program.
I have had this twice on two builds, and a rebuild often sorts it out, sometimes in a subsequent rebuild it may return, but I have not found a solution yet as most other appcrash threads everywhere only target one particular exe such as explorer.
The only programs that are installed at the time are the windows updates and MS Security Essentials, so cant think what could be the cause.
