Windows 7 Ultimate, not sure of build number. Not sure what steps to take. Computer takes like 7-8 minutes to boot because it restarts several times. First boot it's applying operations/updating, then it fails to configure, restarts, fails to revert changes, restarts and continues until i finally get to the login screen. Please help.

I've had this a few times after Windows Updates.

I haven't found the cause of it yet but it can never install them and reverts back like you've had above.

couple of things to try, when you get into windows run a chkdsk on your main drive, then open a cmd window and run this command sfc/scannow it may help you out, but cant promise anything, the sfc command basically checks everything is where it should be, and if not sorts it out.
