Windows 7 Autorun

Hi,

Does anyone know if autorun is disabled in RC1 of Windows 7? I know MS said they are disabling it, but is it applied to RC1?

If so, please can someone tell me how to enable it, for USB flash drives?

I haven't heard that Microsoft are disabling Autoplay, but to enable it again, go to Control Panel > AutoPlay.

The checkbox at the top will allow you to enable for any device, or you can set each type of device manually using the options below.

The problem with Autoplay is it's a security risk, IIRC it's very easy to trick a user into installing something they didn't mean to..
I always disable it anyway, it just annoys me.

Thanks guys, yer I did mean autorun as opposed to autoplay. I'm well aware its evil, just need it for a project demo I have to do.
