Windows 7 back up problems

I keep getting issues with windows 7 back up says back up completed but some files were skipped ?error code 8100002F back up location disc F,then get in option a note pad file back up skipped backing up F:/windowsimagebackup as it is on back up file have I selected my external back up disc to be backed up by windows 7

I think it might be when I moved my temp Internet folders to another drive to save room on me ssd drive but not really sure just been googling the error anyone got any ideas how to resolve this issue should I do a clean back up reformat my external drive and try a new back up or perhaps not include the file in the back up removing at the moment I've got temp files in drive c and drive e confusing strange but true?
 
Oh well it completed the back error free don't know why? Does any one know of a better alternative they can recommend as back up software for me computer?
 
What about acronis also because I have a ssd people suggest turning off system restore so I feel I need a decent back up reliable the windows is ok but has trouble with my firewall/antivirus software I have to disable this for some reason it must hide a file or something ? I used to use norton ghost , mind I like the option of system restore sometimes a good get out fix when registry and programs go array .
 
Cant recommend Acronis True Image Home 2011 enough.
I just click "one click backup" once a month and this backs up my system state and documents etc to my 2nd drive and then i can easily restore when i do a fresh windows install.
 
ive heard good things about this software how much is this product to buy also will the back ups be quicker windows 7 is slow also will this be compatible with an external drive usb 3.0 type im also looking into getting a wd 3tb usb 3.0 drive ,
