I have a Windows 7 PC running a SSD for c drive which use to boot up to desk top login in apx 27 seconds.
Now it is 1 min 20 seconds !

I do use CCleaner now and then as i watch a lot of YouTube videos to clear out the cache & temp folder.

Any ideas what could be causing the longer boot up ! ?

my spec is;
ASUS TUF Z270 mark II DDR4 ATX motherboard

CPU intel Katy Land i7 4.2GHz socket 1151

Be quiet Silent Loop water cooler 120mm fan

Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2X 8GB
DDR 4 3200MHz

Corsair CS650M Modular ATX PSU

Gigabyte George GTX 980 Ti VGA

Kingston 128GB SSD c Drive

Samsung 480GB SSD used for programmes

Are you using a plain coloured tiled background? more a Windows XP and earlier problem but that can sometimes add significantly to start up time in some cases.

The boot time use to be 27 seconds, then recently it has been 1min 23secs ( not that I am counting ! ! ) after bitfenix suggestion the time is now apx 45 seconds.
I do not know how or why programmes add them selves to the start up routine ! ?
