Im going to wait for the RC to be released then install it. The 7000 beta is doing ok for me atm, although I couldn't install Office 2003 on it

use virtual clone drive instead, much better, doesn't have spyware bundled with it, supports windows 7 and is 100% free

oh right, I think I'll just stick with 7000 till the release then, everything is working fine for me so far so there's not much point in me switching.

yep been using 7000 since it came out on my work laptop and its been running great, as soon as the RC comes out in 64bit im going to use that on my main PC i think.

A general Windows 7 query, is it possible to make the taskbar slightly smaller than I have seen in most screenshots? It looks quite bulky like the one posted above.

yup can make it like Vista, first thing I did

right click taskbar, properties, tick "use small icons"

Job done!

Yes Simon, you can tell it to use small icons and the taskbar goes half the size.

Great for my netbook (advent 4211) which runs pretty sweet with Windows 7. No seperate drivers needed, everything works!

Creating a new post to say 'edit: beaten' isn't really an edit, but anyway...

As I'm on build 7068 I doubt I'll upgrade to this one unless there is something great to warrant it, and it seem so for like it's not.
Plus I'm simply loving what I'm using right now with no problems
