Windows 7: Can I Clone Win 7 GPT Onto MBR Partition

I have windows 7 x64 installed on my Intel NUC, when i installed the operating system i was using the UEFI bios and so the GPT partition was created for the installation. Now i need to use a MBR partition. Can i create a full system backup, change to bios and format the drive, then restore the backup onto my hard drive with a MBR partition.

Please advise if this is possible without doing a fresh installation of windows 7.

Well done sir that is exactly what im looking for. I did lots of searching already but nothing was specific to my needs. I already have used Macrium Reflect and this looks straight forward enough to do. Many thanks.
