Windows 7 Constantly Freezing

Installed Windows 7 and everything had been going swimmingly but starting from this morning the taskbar keeps on freezing, about 5 minutes after the system has booted everything freezes on the taskbar.

If I can get any programs open they work fine. Just can't open start menu etc.

Anyone else having or had this issue?

Worked out the issue, a bit of SpyWare called Relevant Knowledge was locking up the machine.

Not sure how it even got installed.

Interesting, I'm running that and suffering some freezing/reduced performance problems. Could just be to do with a faulty HDD I know I have in my machine. Never buy seagate if you can help it!
