windows 7 crashing on keypress

Hi guys in having a strange problem where whatever software I'm using it will crash whenever i press any key on my keyboard wether it be chrome or skyrim or notepad can anybody please help in pulling my hair out

First thing I would do is run the system file checker.... Open a command prompt as Admin and type sfc /scannow. If this does not help then run Memtest to check your RAM.

Ran the cmd it said it had found corrupt files and it had repaired them but the problem still persists. I don't understand what happened it was fine earlier in the day and now this i haven't changed anything at all.

Might be worth running Memtest and if that throws up nothing then test your HDD also.

There is not restores available and i don't have memtest and i cant search for it
