Windows 7 keeps deleting shortcuts I have setup to folders on my Media Centre PC.
Now I have done a little bit of investigation and found that it is a scheduled taks that is doing this.

It is removing the shortcuts as the Media Centre PC is turned off, and thus the shortcut is deemed broken.
There is a work around that is to disable this scheduled task. (another work around would be, now I know when it runs, to make sure that the PC is turned on
)
But I am not sure I want to disable it incase it does something else of importance.
The task is named "custom handler" and I cant seem to find any info about it.
any information would be greatfully recieved.
