Windows 7 desktop shortcut

You know the bug in Windows 7 that used to show two Desktop shortcuts (config files).

Well, when I want to burn some mp3s to a CD, the balloon pops up saying, files waiting to be written to the CD, and, along with the music I want burned is the same "desktop" 1kb file

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I find there is a desktop.ini file in a lot of places. Its usually a hidden file so I generally ignore it.
