windows 7 download?

Just to be clear, im not trying to pirate anything, but here is my situation:

I have an old toshiba satellite 5200-902 which is still in use, I want to try windows 7 on it to see if all the drivers etc work fine. I also have 3 unopened retail copies of windows 7 home premium. Now I don't want to be opening one of them just to find it doesn't work that well (since i couldnt sell it on as new then with the seal broken), is there any demo version of home premium available to download which I can enter a proper code into later if I find it runs well? I know the RC still works (using it on my main pc until i can afford a SSD to install proper version on) but i want to avoid installing the RC and then finding i have to reformat again to install the proper home premium version.

So any advice on whats best to do would be appreciated.

It seems a bit old tbh.. Personally, I'd stick with XP

The only other way to do it, is illegally download the Home Premium ISO file, install without a key, then enter your key after opening the box.

As far as i know, there was only the ultimate versions available for download and think the downloads have been stopped due to win7 already being released (i could be wrong though)

But there is an enterprise version you can try for 90 days.

ive gone with the enterprise trial although it refused to let me download it the first few times due to not being a professional

(just had to tick a few more boxes). The laptop itself, although fairly old, has a really amazing screen and apart from modern 3d games it seems to cope with everything else (including some 720p playback surprisingly). Ive made an image of the original xp install as well though since it will be impossible to find all the right drivers again for xp.
