Windows 7 + drivers

Right guys, my crappy dell finally gave in and got infected by a virus named panties. It has ruined everything, so will be backing up everything thats not .exe (pictures, movies and the like).

question is, it is a crappy comp, dont even know which model it is. it only has 1gb of ram, crap cpu and a x300 radeon...

will it run windows 7? and will windows 7 auto update the drivers? cos i have no idea what the drivers are due to not knowing what model it is lol

should work ok, people have had it running on less :)

driver wise it might do, might not. only one way to find out
 
A virus now named panties? O.o

Anyway, I believe the min requirement for vista is a 32 bit 1GB of ram with 16GB of Hard Drive.

All of *my* drivers were detected but then I have more well known stuff so :/

an't you just go in to device manager to see the devices there?

Oh wow.... Ever get that small feeling? Like you just been zapped to a inch tall muppet lol, thats me.... I will try that when i get home :)

I think i will resort to a restore point first, run AVG again, see if that works :)

Really can't wait to build a new rig tbh, sick of this dell, caused me nothing but problems :(
