I have a copy of Windows 7 Enterprise 32bit, however I would rather the 64bit version. Is the 32bit key interchangeable with the 64bit software?

I found I can download a trial version of the 64bit Windows 7 from here:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/cc442495.aspx

Can the 64bit trial software be converted into a full version by using the key from the 32bit software. I know officially it says it must be reinstalled however I have heared it is possible to convert/unlock the software, can anyone confirm?

From what I have read, Yes you can use a 32bit key with 64bit and also the other way round.

I'm not sure if the trial version will turn into a full version though.

So you have a Windows 7 MAK (Multiple Activation Key) ?

I haven't tried personally, but I think Windows 7 64 bit Enterprise trial version would activate into a full version with a MAK.
