looking at the log file i get this error

032323 (0844) - d3d\dx9misc.cpp:1030: Error: Unable to create the D3D device

032323 (0844) - d3d\dx9misc.cpp:1030: Error: Unable to check the capabilities of the video card because a d3d device could not be created

just wondered if any had any of these prblems

hmmm yes i do have P55

its weird

it did used to work and rated my ssytem all around the 7.4 mark! ( except hard drive which was 5.9 as its 7000rpm)

i know tis only a windows gimmick, but it annoys me!!!

i may try the repair feature on the disc...... dno if i can be bothered to do i full system reinstall.

PS

i let windows download a driver for my intergrated lan chipset, and it stopped working! and i had to reinstate to old driver! so just a heads up not to let it download it, its an optional download anyway!
