windows 7 folder icon

hi

i have upgraded to windows 7 and i love it, but i have a very serious problem.

if you could cast your minds back to the old windows xp, think back to your music folder. the folder icons for the music were all flat and the folder.jpg was flat on the front of the folder icon.

i want that so bad it hurts. the new open files are all good and well for documents and the such but for music the old folder icons were far superior.
if anyone has any idea as to have that folder opion in windows 7 i would burst out in tears of joy. i have searched for a good 4 hours on ways of doing it but nothing.

any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't know a way to get the exact same style icon as in XP. But if you right-click a folder then click the Customize tab, then click Choose File... you can pick just one image to poke out of the folder.

I did like the icons in XP that showed the album art etc perfectly, but at the same time I rarely pick an artist/album based on the picture on the icon. Furthermore, I play my music almost exclusively through Winamp's Media Library so what the Windows icon looks like is not even an issue!
