¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hi, I'm needing to use quite a few W7 based VM's using VirtualBox, and I was wondering where I can find out the footprint size of each version of Windows 7? I'm trying to get a W7 install below 10Gb....

I'm guessing that Ultimate will use more space than W7 Basic, but I cannot seem to find the footprint size anywhere. Is it available or am I going to have to install it 8 times in order to find these figures out myself?

Iirc it's something like 14-15GB for permium by default, although that probably includes page-files etc.

All MS seem to list are the requirements for 32- and 64-bit versions (16GB and 20GB, respectively).

Obviously they can be reduced a lot by disabling unneeded features, but for the defaults, this might be worth a look (first page):

Well this image from that link seems to be a good start;

he said that he used a mixture of x86 and x64 versions and also installed a few programs on each install so not exactly ideal...

So far I've got this after a W7 x64 clean install with hiber file removed and a 1gb pagefile:

I'm installing pro x64 now, I'm hoping it will be under 8gb...
