Hey, im having some problems with windows!
I recently had a error with the boot manager, which entailed with my computer getting the blue screen of death, then restarting with the words "Bootmgr is missing Press Crtl + Alt + Del to restart".
I decided to reinstall Windows when the real bad stuff happened.
Windows wouldnt recognise ANY mouse i had, were it be a usb mouse w/ drivers or one without.
Me and my Dad tried to get this sorted by running windows update, which then we found out that we had no internet.
We inserted the motherboard CD which got us the internet and mouse functions.
Then windows couldnt find my other HDD which had EVERYthing on, so i formatted it.
All of my drivers are up to date aswell.
While all this was going on the computer was freezing/locking up every hour, and i was getting very bad internet, games at 5-10 fps aint fun when before i got the Bootmgr is missing error had like 40-50fps as a minimum.
Nothing like this happened before, its ran well for the past year with no major problems, well nothing like this anyway.
Computer Specs:
Mobo - Asus Sabertooth P67 *B3 Revision*
Processor - Intel core i5 2500k 3.30GHz (not overclocked)
Graphics card - AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB
Memory - 8gb of Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz DDR3
SSD - Crucial M4 64gb
HDD - Samsung Spinpoint F1 750gb
I recently had a look at other forum posts and various websites and most of them suggest that its the RAM but i ran Memtest up to 145% and i had no errors up to that point but my computer froze up.
Let me know if theres any other information you might need!
