Windows 7 & G9

I guess this might just be a Windows 7 thing - but whenever I boot/reboot the computer, my G9 defaults back to a slow pointer speed - I then change it using the + and - buttons on the mouse, but as soon as I reboot again, it's back to defaults...

Any ideas? :S

the slider is still there

click start, type mouse in search then click mouse (will have a mouse icon next to it in the search results)

that will bring up mouse properties, then click the pointer options tab and use the slider till you get the required speed

Cheers - I was in about the SetPoint software, which has changed a bit since I last used it.

I'll give the mouse panel a go.

Do you mean the dpi settings are resetting? If so that happens to me on vista

It's the dpi that changes not the 'speed'.

Yep, just realised that's what it is. I guess it is a vista/7/setpoint thing.

It's a known problem with the latest version of the g9 setpoint - they're fixing it in the next update apparently.
