Hey everyone,

Got a wierd issue with my PC that seems to have start in last couple of weeks.

I have my screen set to turn off after 20 minutes, sometimes when I try and get the screen to turn back on it doesn't.

My screen says that there is no input found, so presumably nothing is being put out by the GFX card.

What do people think could be causing this?

Do you need to force reset after?

Are you using an AMD card? Drivers 12.4? Roll back to 12.3 or try the 12.5 betas, the hanging problem is very common with the 12.4 drivers.

Amd card, and 12.4 indeed. I will try the 12.5 betas and hope for the best.

Thanks pal.

I found that hes graphics card started not to like going to sleep

by putting hes PC into high performance mode and removing screen going to sleep it never happened again

Are you using an SSD for a OS drive?

Yes I am, could this be causing issues?

I been having a problem with my SSD is after the monitors gone to sleep and I wake them up, the PC can BSOD on me, the error is something to do with my video drivers, am using a AMD card as well. It's not hanging like yours is, but who knows?

Thanks for the heads up. :)

I am trying to remember when I changed the card driver, if it was recently then it may have been causing the issues.

I am on 12.6 beta now, fingers crossed...

Don't even need to do that.

Download Msi afterburner then go into its config file and set the 0 core function on the card to off.

Problem solved.
