I'm using windows 7 professional 64 bit, when i go to shutdown the pc the logout screen is just staying on the screen and the pc isn't shutting down, any ideas ?
Can anyone help with this as its frustrating to say the least, i have to do a reset each time i want to shut down as its just hanging on the shutdown screen.
One thing ive noticed though is that if the usb wifi adapter is connected to one of the USB3 ports on the rear it seems to hang every time on shutdown, i took it out and tested it in the front USB3 ports and windows seems to shutdown no problem when its connected to the front usb3 ports, well i did 8 shutdowns and it never hung or froze once.
had this a while back too, didnt do it all the time maybe 6 out of 10 shutdowns
not sure what was doing it but since i had to reinstall win 7 64bit its not done it once and that was over a month ago now
