Windows 7 Help - computer goes into power saving despite disabling

I'm having a problem on my computer. I'm assuming it's something in Windows 7 that's causing this, and not any of my hardware.

Basically, after about 20-30 mins of being idle, it goes into power saving and turns off the display and the sound, but the computer itself remains on (think this may be called "away mode"?). This is obviously very frustrating when I'm trying to watch videos, or have music / radio on the background. All it takes is a tap of the keyboard / moving the mouse to bring it back on, but it's a big inconvenience when I'm in bed watching a film or listening to the radio.

I've gone into power management and ticked never under "Turn Off the Display" and "Put the computer to sleep", as well as tinkering in the advanced settings* so that absolutely nothing in it says it'll power off, but the problem still occurs. I also have no screensaver so it can't be that.

I just have absolutely no idea where else I can go to disable this from happening. Hopefully somebody else knows what it is that I've missed.

*Also, are there anything in the advanced settings that I shouldn't be touching? Like disabling "hybrid sleep" or the link state power management under PCI Express? I have no idea what any of these things do so I just want to be careful not to needlessly disable something important.

That's strange it definitley cannot be the sleep/screen savers because watching a film on full screen will not allow the computer to fall asleep.

Maybe you're adjusting the settings on the wrong profile in power management? Windows 7 comes with 3 profiles if I'm not mistaken.

Power Saver
Balanced
High Performance

So Choose one, adjust the settings and see how it goes.. Make sure your screen saver is disabled as well! :)
