I've got a Lenovo U450p and it seems to crash whenever it goes into hibernation.
I can select Hibernate from the shutdown menu and it appears to work without problem; however I encounter problems when starting back up. It appears to get part way into the startup, then the machine reboots (I see the BIOS report on a blank screen.) I'm finally presented with the normal login screen after which I'm informed that Windows did not shut down properly, etc. I'm assuming this "improper shutdown" refers to the crash while starting up after hibernating.
This happens *every* time; i.e., not an intermittent problem.
It has 7 installed as default and there are no driver updates from Lenovo.
Any ideas?
