Windows 7 HP remote desktop problem

Hi all,

Installed windows 7 HP x64 on my laptop this week after running the RC and then enterprise trail and remote desktop has been fine. Now having installed the retail copy it hangs on "Configuring remote session". Does this on everything I try to remote to, even locally with just "server" as the name

Anyone got any ideas?

It does, Im not using it as a remote server just as a client.

Might not have made myself clear, im removing from my laptop into another device/devices
