Windows 7 Hybrid Sleep

I put my newly installed Win 7 to sleep the other night, and something cocked up, it kind of went halfway, with all the fans running but no display. Despite powering off (at the PSU, power cable out) it still refused to come back. It was only when I did a CMOS reset that it would come back, and even then it just "resumed", not a full boot.

I have Hybrid Sleep enabled, which as I understand it is a more secure form of sleep as it writes your system state to HDD. This also seems to mean it's a bugger to resurrect if things go wrong, so in light of this should I just enable 'normal' sleep which keeps data in RAM?

I don't know how significant this is, but I noticed that ACPI 2.0 is not enabled in my P5Q Deluxe's BIOS. Should this be enable to help with sleeping etc?

Thanks!
