Windows 7 install asking for driver?

Well I am just triyng to install Windows 7 on my new build

IB 3770k
Asrock Z77e-ITX
Crucial M4

...and Windows is asking me for a driver to my CD/DVD drive - but I don't have one (a drive that is)!

Any ideas? I managed to install Windows 8 without it asking for anything.

Is it an original disc you're trying to install from?

Oh hang on, are you installing from USB or something?

Yes. Installed from USB plenty of times before with no issues.

Try copying the files to the stick again. I used to see this with discs that didn't burn correctly so your install source may be corrupted.

Trying again with a different stick and a 2 pass write....still the same thing.

Oh its because I had the USB3 port! (Which would explain why Windows 8 was fine with it)

Glad you solved it! It's worth knowing you get the same message when attempting to install via USB3. It's not the best example of Microsoft error handling.
