Id like to install windows 7 onto my computer but ive never been able to, Ive read somewhere that there is a compatability problem with the motherboard, its the GA-p55m-ud2
ive changed the graphics card since.

The problem is that it starts the setup with the windows logo rotating and glowing, once that goes its just a blank screen.

My computer isnt overclocked or anything at this time, what should the settings be? maybe something isnt set right but why would that stop a setup from continueing?

What are your hard drives plugged into? Intel chipset SATA ports (SATA2_0, SATA2_1, SATA2_2, SATA2_3, SATA2_4) or the Gigabyte SATA ports (GSATA2_0, GSATA2_1)?

I would ensure the drive you want to install to is connected to the Intel ports and just disconnect any other drives.
