Hi all, hope you're having a good evening/day.

Looking for some help as the title indicates. OS is Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit.

The files in question are:

"Amd64\hpfspw71.rpo"

"Amd64\hpc4340t.xml"

"Amd64\HPW1B83L.XML"

"Amd64\HPZ3Rwn7.DLL"

"Amd64\EP0NUI60.DLL"

Steps already followed:

1. Ran sfc /scannow in Command Prompt as Administrator dozens of times, with reboots in between.

Result: Unable to repair some corrupt files.

2. Booted from Windows installation disc - Repair Your Computer - Use Recovery Tools - Command Prompt - sfc /scannow bla bla

Result: Unable to repair some corrupt files.

The system has been running fine by the way. At least, so far. But as someone else will be taking possession of this build at some point, I would ideally like to leave it nice and clean and error-free, if possible, without having to do a complete re-installation.

Does anyone know how important those 5 files are, and if so, in what way? i.e. What do/will they affect?

And does anyone have any tips for how best to go about repairing these files? I've been reading about manual installation/repair but it seems a little complicated. Wondering if someone knows an alternative way, or can just reassure me the files in question will be pretty much irrelevant.

Have uploaded the relevant portion of the sfcdetails.txt for anyone who fancies a look at it. Link: http://www.filedropper.com/sfcdetails

Thanks for reading. :)

They all appear to be related to print drivers.

HP??????.??? - are for HP drivers
EP??????.??? - are for Epsom drivers.

A quick google of the file names should confirm this.

See if you have those drivers installed and see if they can be uninstalled or re-install over the top. But I probably wouldn't worry about them too much.

Thanks for the reply, Chaos. Much appreciated. :)

Yeah that's what they looked like to me, but as I haven't plugged in any printers... very strange. As far as I know, they came with the Windows 7 installation, or with Windows 7 Updates (which turned out to be messy due to some faulty memory and might be the reason for the corruption in these files)... could be wrong though.

np. Windows does come with a certain amount of printer drivers built in, which does make it a bit odd that it can't fix them. But as said, wouldn't worry to much as if anyone does plug a printer in down the line they should just be able to get the latest drivers from the manufacturer anyway.

Again, appreciated. That's one of the things I was hoping for at least. Fairly happy with leaving it at that then, as the system is working just fine and if new printer drivers can replace those as and when needed, then great. Thank you. :)
